Features

What it does.

Translation that lives inside the thread you are already reading — not in a tab you have to keep switching to.

Inline translation

Incoming messages are translated into the language you pick, right inside the chat thread.

Original text stays put

The translation sits next to the original, never replaces it — so you keep names, slang, and context.

On-device by default

Uses Chrome's built-in translator. In this mode no message ever leaves your computer.

Check before you send

See what your outgoing message says in the other person's language before it goes out.

Bring your own API key

Prefer a specific provider or need wider language coverage? Connect your own translation key.

Set it once

Pick your target language in settings and forget it. No per-message configuration.

No second window

Everything happens in the WhatsApp Web interface. No copying text into a translation site.

No accounts, no logs

No sign-up, no analytics, no message logging. The extension runs entirely in your browser.
How it works

Set it once, then forget it.

No sign-up, no dashboard, no second app. Open WhatsApp Web the way you always do and the translations are already there.

01

Install the extension

Add it to Chrome. There is no account to create and nothing to configure on a server.

02

Pick your language

Choose your target language once in the extension's settings. Optionally add your own translation API key.

03

Open web.whatsapp.com

Translations appear inline next to the original message, so you always keep the original text for context.

Privacy

Your messages stay yours.

The extension runs entirely in your browser. There is no backend and nothing for us to read.

  • On-device mode (default) — translation happens through Chrome's built-in translator. Your messages are never sent anywhere.
  • Your own API key (optional) — messages are sent only to the provider you configured, using your own account. Never to us.
  • No analytics, no accounts, no message logging. Your language preference and API key are stored in your own browser.

Who it's for

Anyone messaging across languages.

If you have ever pasted a WhatsApp message into a translation site and pasted the result back, this was built for you.

Teams working across borders

Talk to overseas suppliers, factories, and clients without a translation tab open all day.

Support agents

Handle international customers in one thread, and read what you are about to send before sending it.

Families and friends

Stay in touch across countries and languages without anyone switching to a second language.

Language learners

Read real conversations with the original alongside the translation, which is how the words actually stick.

Where are my messages translated?
By default, on your own machine. The extension uses Chrome's built-in on-device translator, so message text is never sent over the network. If you choose to connect your own API key, messages go only to the provider you configured, using your own account — never to us.
